      Description
Writing as Mina Hardy, New York Times bestselling author Megan Hart delivers a thrilling new psychological suspense for fans of The Woman in the Window and When the Lights Go Out.

She’s lost her best friend, her husband—and possibly, her mind.

Five months ago, an accident left Diana Sparrow badly injured and missing a few months of her memory. As if that’s not enough, she’s started having recurring nightmares about the night of the accident. Dreams that feel so real, she’s left questioning: maybe she didn’t just slide off the road into a ditch. Maybe, just maybe, she hit something. Or someone.

She can’t turn to her former best friend Val, who’s been sleeping with Diana’s husband Jonathan for months, but she might find some comfort in newcomer Cole Pelham. Yet the closer they become, the more Diana begins to wonder what really happened that night—and how Cole might be connected. Worse, it seems everyone else could be involved, too.

Who was with her that night? What really happened? As her life unravels thread by thread and the dreams become too real to ignore, Diana will have to face the unthinkable—and do the unforgivable.

A successful therapist’s world is upended when her patients are targeted in a campaign of twisted psychological harassment in this propulsive novel from the author of Convince Me.

      You never know who’s watching…

Dr. Laina Landers is good at her job. She’s an accomplished marriage and family therapist, dedicated and compassionate. When one of her patients holds his wife hostage at gunpoint she successfully intervenes, saving both their lives. Laina becomes a media sensation. But as her star rises, a target is placed on her back.

Not everyone is impressed by Laina’s achievements. Someone has it in for her, and is targeting what matters most to her: her patients. One by one, Laina’s patients spiral after they receive unsettling gifts that mock their deepest fears and hidden traumas, secrets only shared in therapy. Then Laina herself is the target of a home invasion, and when the perpetrators flee, they leave behind the same eerie message that was left for her patients: Watching you.

Enlisting Cal Murray, the ambitious and charismatic investigative journalist with whom she has an explosive attraction, Laina must examine her patient’s lives as well as her own to identify the culprit. All she knows for sure? It’s someone with access to her records. Someone who wants to destroy her stellar reputation, her newfound success, and even, perhaps, end her life.

      Description
Detective Elise King investigates a man’s disappearance in a seaside town where the locals and weekenders are at odds with each other, in this suspenseful new novel from the #1 bestselling author of The Widow.

Elise King is a successful and ambitious detective. Or she was, before a medical leave left her unsure if she’d ever return to work. She now spends most days watching the growing tensions in her small seaside town of Ebbing: the weekenders renovating old bungalows into luxury homes, and the locals resentful of the changes.

Elise can only guess what really happens behind closed doors. But Dee Eastwood, her housecleaner, knows. She’s an invisible presence in many of the houses in town. Dee sees and hears everything.

The conflicts boil over when a newcomer wants to put their town on the map with a giant music festival, and a teenage girl ends up dead from a drug overdose. When a man also disappears the first night of the festival, Elise is drawn back into her detective work and starts digging for answers. Ebbing is a small town, but it’s full of myriad secrets and hidden connections that run deeper and darker than Elise could have ever imagined.

      Description
The New York Times bestselling author of Final Girls and Survive the Night is back with his “best plot twist yet.” (People, ”Best Summer Books")

Casey Fletcher, a recently widowed actress trying to escape a streak of bad press, has retreated to the peace and quiet of her family’s lake house in Vermont. Armed with a pair of binoculars and several bottles of bourbon, she passes the time watching Tom and Katherine Royce, the glamorous couple living in the house across the lake. They make for good viewing—a tech innovator, Tom is powerful; and a former model, Katherine is gorgeous.

One day on the lake, Casey saves Katherine from drowning, and the two strike up a budding friendship. But the more they get to know each other—and the longer Casey watches—it becomes clear that Katherine and Tom’s marriage isn’t as perfect as it appears. When Katherine suddenly vanishes, Casey immediately suspects Tom of foul play. What she doesn’t realize is that there’s more to the story than meets the eye—and that shocking secrets can lurk beneath the most placid of surfaces.

Packed with sharp characters, psychological suspense, and gasp-worthy plot twists, Riley Sager’s The House Across the Lake is the ultimate escapist read…no lake house required.

      Description
The competitive selection process for a prized college scholarship turns deadly in the latest thriller from USA Today bestselling author David Bell.

On a beautiful spring day, six college students with nothing in common besides a desperate inability to pay for school gather to compete for the prestigious Hyde Fellowship.

      Milo—The front-runner

      Natalia—The brain

      James—The rule follower

      Sydney—The athlete

      Duffy—The cowboy

      Emily—The social justice warrior

The six of them must surrender their devices when they enter Hyde House, an aging Victorian structure that sits in a secluded part of campus.

Once inside, the doors lock behind them. The students are not allowed to leave until they spend eight hours with a college administrator who will do almost anything to keep the school afloat, and Nicholas Hyde, the privileged and notoriously irresponsible heir to the Hyde family fortune. If the students leave before time is up, they’ll be immediately disqualified.

But when one of the six finalists drops dead, the other students fear they’re being picked off one by one. With a violent protest raging outside, and no way to escape, the survivors viciously turn on each other.

The Finalists is a chilling and profound look at the lengths both students and colleges will go to survive in a resource-starved academic world.

“I raced through The Finalists, which is not only a first-rate thriller but an insightful commentary on the challenges facing higher education. The Finalists is proof positive that David Bell is one of the best thriller writers working today.”—Alma Katsu, author of Red Widow

“Wildly entertaining.”—New York Times Book Review

From the bestselling and award-winning author comes a wickedly clever and fast-paced novel of greed, revenge, obsession—and quite possibly the perfect murder.

Simon and Vicky couldn’t seem more normal: a wealthy Chicago couple, he a respected law professor, she an advocate for domestic violence victims. A stable, if unexciting marriage. But one thing’s for sure … absolutely nothing is what it seems. The pair are far from normal, and one of them just may be a killer. When the body of a beautiful socialite is found hanging in a mansion in a nearby suburb, Simon and Vicky’s secrets begin to unravel. A secret whirlwind affair. A twenty-million-dollar trust fund about to come due. A decades-long grudge and obsession with revenge. These are just a few of the lies that make up the complex web…and they will have devastating consequences. And while both Vicky and Simon are liars, just who exactly is conning who? Part Gone Girl, part Strangers on a Train, Look Closer is a wild rollercoaster of a read that will have you questioning everything you think you know.

“With labyrinthine plots that spin on twist after twist and several never-saw-that-coming turns….Ellis juggles romantic triangles, betrayal after betrayal, revenge and greed for a complex plot that evolves into one solid twist after another. Each character’s shady past and their unshakeable present merge into an exciting plot”—Florida Sun Sentinel

“Serpentine revelations will surprise even the cleverest mystery readers. This complex tale of triple-crossings and devious revenge should win Ellis new fans.”—Publishers Weekly

      Description
Liz Alterman’s engrossing novel is a thought-provoking read about the dark side of suburbia and the secrets of close-knit communities, perfect for fans of Joshilyn Jackson.

When actress and model Allison Langley leaves her former rockstar husband, Christopher, in the middle of the night, it’s all her Oak Hill neighbors can talk about. The gossip comes to an abrupt halt when five-year-old Billy Barnes goes missing on his walk home from kindergarten.

Billy’s mother, Rachel, blames herself for being at work and letting her only child walk alone. Cassidy, Billy’s teenage babysitter, was also late to arrive on the afternoon he disappeared and blames herself for his disappearance.

As the clock ticks down, police are unable to find any trace of Billy, forcing Rachel to ponder the enemies she’s made in their well-off suburb. Could it be one of her neighbors who stole her son? Would they abduct Billy to hurt her?  How easy would it be to take a child while the parents or nannies are distracted?

When another child goes missing, the town is put under a microscope as the police try to get to the bottom of the disappearances. Will they be able to find the two children, or will it be too late? What secrets lie at the heart of this tragedy, and how far will one go to keep those dangerous secrets buried?

—Catherine McKenzie, USA Today bestselling author of Please Join Us and Fractured

“In theory, The Perfect Neighborhood is the ideal place to raise a family. In reality, it’s disturbing and completely riveting. Inside every house is another fascinating character, another lie, another betrayal. Reading this book made me feel like I lived in Oak Hill, and I refused to leave until every secret was uncovered.”
—Samantha Downing, internationally bestselling author of My Lovely Wife and For Your Own Good.

“In Liz Alterman’s debut psychological suspense novel, The Perfect Neighborhood, everybody is gossiping, everybody is watching, but nobody saw a child disappear. I loved reading the way social paranoia took second place to fear as this picture-perfect suburban community dissolved. Alterman dives deep into the emotional secrets of the babysitter, the retired actress, the mother of the missing boy, and all those neighbors in their "fairytale marriages.” The combination of super-relatable characters and nearly unbearable suspense made it impossible to stop reading”
—Sarah Warburton, author of You Can Never Tell

“Big Little Lies meets Everything I Never Told You in this wholly propulsive and utterly enthralling neighborhood suspense. With razor-sharp commentary and biting humor, I simultaneously howled with laughter one minute while tearing through the pages, racing toward the entirely shocking conclusion. Liz Alterman is a masterful storyteller and The Perfect Neighborhood is a devour-in-one-sitting read.”

“Liz Alterman has crafted a riveting mystery that epitomizes every parent’s greatest fear. With characters so compelling and real in both their humanity and flaws, you’ll feel certain you’ve known these people in real life. A page-turning whodunnit that also packs an emotional wallop, if you love Lisa Jewel’s dark domestic suspense, don’t miss Alterman’s captivating new book. This perfect neighborhood is anything but!”
—Rebecca Taylor, award-winning author of The Secret Next Door

“A brilliant snapshot of the cracks in modern, seemingly privileged American suburbia.”
—Nina Monroe, author of The Children’s Secrets

“Filled with juicy secrets and delicious twists, The Perfect Neighborhood slyly skewers the suburban ideal. Entertaining, relatable, and wise right up until its spot-on punch of an ending, this is a not miss for all fans of domestic suspense.”
