Comprehensive: The book brings together work from each decade of the artist’s career, including sculpture, drawing, installation, sound and process pieces, plans and documentation for commissions, and new, recent work, offering an unparalleled opportunity to reexamine and more fully appreciate the central role Sonnier has played in re-defining the parameters of sculpture over the past fifty years.
Exhibition: The book accompanies a traveling exhibition, which opens at the Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill, New York June 30, 2018-January 27, 2019, and goes to the New Orleans Museum of Art, March 15-June 2, 2019.
