"Focusing on tough themes and subjects that will resonate with adolescents...this title will immerse readers; the writing is to the point and immediate, the print size large, and the cover darkly enticing." - School Library Journal
"Daniel is a likeable and authentic first person narrator...Foolproof is well-paced; Tullson skillfully uses the nearly constant action to develop Daniel's character. The story, itself, provides an interesting examination of our willingness to believe lies and to ignore our gut instincts in the face of a threat to our happiness by "the truth"...A high-stakes and high-interest story with a lively pace written at a lower reading level...Highly Recommended." - CM Magazine
"The border town setting of this novel is ideal to show how teens can get caught up in local smuggling. Naïve Daniel is perfect prey for the beautiful and apparently rich Cynthia. This novel is a warning that no one is 'foolproof'." - Resource Links
