Perfect for Mother’s Day, Grandparents Day, and any day when you want to celebrate a child’s love for their grandma, this warm Step 1 early reader celebrates a girl’s special relationship with her grandma!

Aren’t grandmas the best? The star of I Love Pink! and I Love My Tutu! has so much fun with her grandma! Together, they bike and play games, they read and have tea parties…and dance parties! And, guess what? Her grandma even had a grandma once! And they liked to do a lot of the same things together, too. This simple story is relatable, easy to decode, and parents and grandparents will relish the opportunity to talk about their family lineage after reading this warm intergenerational story about the love between a grandma and a granddaughter.

Step 1 Readers feature big type and easy words for children who know the alphabet and are eager to begin reading. Rhyme and rhythmic text paired picture clues help children decode the story.

Young readers will LOVE the companion books too! I Love Pink!, I Love My Tutu!, and I Love Cake!

Series Overview: Since 1984, Step Into Reading has set the standard. Random House was the first trade publisher to implement a leveling system that recognized the developmental stages of beginning readers; offer a reader series as original paperbacks; and publish a mix of original and licensed titles. The line includes exciting fiction and non-fiction, favorite characters and innovative line extensions such as Non-Fiction Readers (now broken into categories), Comic Readers, Math Readers, Phonics Readers, and Sticker Books: a complete literacy program with something for every child.

GRANDMA BOOKS are popular all year round, but especially at Mother’s Day! This book is better than a greeting card and is about the same price!

2nd HIT for National GRANDPARENTS’ DAY (first Sunday after Labor Day)

Super SIMPLE, DECODEABLE TEXT makes for a successful reading experience

GUIDED READING LEVEL: Fountas-Pinnell reading levels provided on our back covers

EARLY READER LEADER: For over 30 years, Step into Reading has lead the industry. With nearly 200 million copies sold since 1984 and over 600 titles in print.
