Against all odds, Rye and Sonia have survived the perils behind the gold and silver Doors. But Weld is still under threat, and Rye knows what he has to do. One Door remains a mystery—the ancient wooden Door that he has been drawn to from the beginning.

For good or ill, his desperate quest will end beyond that Door.

All he has to do is dare to go through it…

Award-winning and beloved author Emily Rodda grew up on Sydney’s North Shore and graduated from the University of Sydney in 1973 with an MA (Hons) in English Literature. Always an avid reader, she moved naturally into a career in publishing, first as a book editor, and finally as a publisher at Angus & Robertson. Rodda has been a full-time writer since 1994 and won the prestigious Dromkeen Medal in 1995. She lives in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, Australia, with her family.
