100 4C PHOTOGRAPHSBUZZY AUTHOR: Nadiya is a first-generation British Bangladeshi Muslim, mother to three children, and New York Times bestseller. She has stayed in the spotlight ever since her victory on The Great British Baking Show in 2015 and has since released ten BBC culinary shows and was a judge for the network’s Junior Bake Off. Nadiya’s Netflix shows, Time to Eat and Nadiya Bakes, garnered plenty of media attention. Nadiya has also been featured in Food & Wine, Los Angeles Times, The Cut, Refinery29, People, New York Post, and more.
NEW BBC SERIES TIE-IN: Nadiya will have a new series dedicated to Nadiya’s Everyday Baking airing on the BBC in early September 2022, which will garner even more attention for the book both across the pond and in the U.S. (Nadiya is currently looking for a new platform outside of Netflix for the US episodes.)
FULLY AMERICANIZED RECIPES AND PACKAGE: As with Nadiya’s first two cookbooks, the Potter edition will feature a POB package with full-color photos by Chris Terry throughout, American measurements (as well as metrics), recipes cross-tested in an American kitchen, and potentially a re-designed cover. The American edition of Nadiya’s Everyday Bakes will quickly follow the publication of the UK edition which is due to publish in early September 2022.
GROWING PLATFORM: When we acquired Nadiya Bakes in Fall 2020, Nadiya had 706k followers on Instagram and as of spring 2022, her platform had grown to 832k followers (10% increase), thanks to the Netflix premiere of Nadiya Bakes in the spring of 2021, as well as the popularity of her first two cookbooks. Nadiya is a breakout UK food media star with a strong American following. Cooks are clamoring for easy access Nadiya recipes––which is the reason Nadiya’s books are consistent bestsellers not only in the UK, but also in the United States.
